Hey guys! The progress of the game is slow as usual, added some new stuff, a new girl and etc. Look forward for the next demo release! XD
Well, I wanted to get feedback from you readers about something. As you all probably know, my tablet broke a while back, so I've been thinking of getting a new one. But it cost a lot of money and right now I just can't afford to buy one. So, the solution I came up with so that the development of the game doesn't stall is that I draw the scenes manually(by hand), and color them digitally. What I wanted to know is which one do you guys think looks better, the one I draw using the tablet or manually? Please tell me your opinion in the comment section, and have a nice day! ;)

Hey!
ReplyDeleteI'm generally a shy person and tend to not offer much praise or offer suggestions but I wanted to break out of my shell a little bit and just tell you that I have been secretly following the progress of your game ever since you first announced it at Hongfire.
I thought nothing more could be introduced to help differentiate RPG games from one another but I love your idea of H-scenes, especially the sprites on a bed at the start.
To top of it off, I really love your artistry skills too. I love everything about this game!
Hello!
DeleteI'm glad there's at least one person who's following the game, and I thank you deeply for the compliments. Look out for more suprises in the next demo release! ;)
Hello
ReplyDeleteI've been folloing this game for a while now. While i haven't played it (I'm afraid of losing interest before the final versions come out), it looks, IMO, like the most interesting idependently h-game on hongfire.
Anyway, I prefer hand drawings in general, so my vote goes to the manually darwn one.
Well, the current demo has very little content, and the next release will be somewhat different from the current one. You can just try it out if you want. And thanks for the vote. ;)
DeleteI'd go for the manual drawn ones, myself. I know when I do art I prefer to draw/scan/color.
ReplyDeleteGood work overall, though. Looking forward to seeing where you go with this project. If I had experience with RPGMaker I'd offer to help.
Yeah, I think my arts look better if drawn by hand than by tablet. But now I think I need to redraw all the scenes to make them look more consistent. T_T
DeleteAnyway, thanks! I'll work hard to make this project a success! ;)
I like the manually drawn one better, since it is smoother and shows more of you as a drawer =)

Neopriest from Hongfire
Thanks for the vote! Hopefully the scenes will look much better drawn manually... ;)
DeleteI think your drawings look better.the demo is amazing, looking toward to see more of it/ besides the hunter Farming that is excellent the amnesia that let the player wander who is this guy.Maybe he is the Captain that make his ship crash or was a criminal or a noble man, Bro i think u got a lot of things to keep going on story wise. grats and GL
ReplyDeleteHey, thanks for checking out the demo. I'll be looking to re-draw the scenes and making the storyline a bit more interesting. ;)
DeleteIts my first time commenting EVER LOL
ReplyDeleteBut yeah I just have to say this, THEY'RE BOTH GOOD xD although you should probably go with the tablet one since it should save your time, then again the hand-drawn one is awesome.
Hoping to see more :) Cheers
I know, right? But me getting a new tablet at the time is almost impossible. So I'm hand-drawing a few of the scenes for the next demo, and now I think the hand-drawn scene look better for the game. Now I'm thinking should I re-draw all the scenes by hand or get a new tablet and use it for the full game later? ~_~"
